About The Position

The Funding Specialist I reviews loan documents for accuracy and compliance with company policies and applicable laws. This role trains dealers on the proper completion of loan documents and answers questions related to program processes and application statuses, communicates document issues to dealers and helps resolve any outstanding issues. Duties may include, but are not limited to: Accurately enter received financing documents into the organization’s operating system for processing. Review financing documents for accuracy and compliance with company policies and applicable regulations. Monitor electronic signature queue, resend links or contact dealers with any issues. Assist other departments with document or funding related questions. Document applicable notes properly in all required areas per company processes and procedures. Review processing statuses and documentation to ensure dealer calls are appropriately handled; advise dealers on any issues or needed items. Answer program questions, train dealers on document and funding processes via phone and email. Other duties as assigned by management. Must be able to come to work promptly and regularly. Must be able to take direction and work well with others. Must be able to handle tight deadlines and maintain high standards of work. Must be able to productively and effectively adapt to change. Applicants must be reliable, dynamic, sociable and enthusiastic team players; while possessing a positive "can-do" attitude, excellent judgement and communication skills. Applicants must also have great attention to detail and ability to multi-task under the stress of deadlines with a strong desire to help the organization succeed.

Requirements

  • Highschool diploma/GED completed or in progress.
  • To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Internet Explorer).
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
  • Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
