The position involves managing and overseeing the funding operations, ensuring timely and accurate disbursement of funds to dealers. The role requires the development and implementation of funding policies and procedures to streamline operations and maintain compliance with regulatory requirements. Collaboration with the underwriting team is essential to ensure a seamless transition from credit approval to funding. The position also involves communication with Credit Analysts and Dealer Partners to resolve discrepancies and obtain additional information when necessary. Additionally, the role includes managing the Funding Associate to conduct thorough reviews of all collateral supporting documentation for accuracy to ensure proper collateral perfection. The candidate will review and verify all documentation related to finance contracts to ensure accuracy and completeness, and manage the Funding team to maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all funding transactions and documentation. Developing and implementing funding checklists and quality standards, utilizing Microsoft Office and Loan Origination Systems (LOS) to process and manage funding transactions, and maintaining detailed records of all funding activities are also key responsibilities. The candidate will work closely with dealers to resolve any issues related to funding and provide exceptional customer service. Training and mentoring funding staff to ensure high performance and continuous improvement to achieve departmental goals is also part of the role. Regular reviews and analyses of funding processes to identify opportunities for efficiency improvements will be expected, along with performing all other job duties assigned.
