About The Position

As part of our Centre Support Team, you'll be at the core of this mission, supporting our centre teams to create impactful, high-quality early learning experiences. Your work will help shape the future, ensuring every child gets the best start in life. Take the lead in ensuring the success of State Government Kindergarten initiatives and grants, from application to acquittal, as our Funding & Grants Administrator. As a Funding and Grants Administrator, your work will be pivotal in ensuring the effective and efficient management of funding opportunities that support our kindergarten programs.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in completing applications for government grants or knowledge of grants and grants administration systems and processes
  • Financially astute including experience managing budgets
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong relationship building capabilities
  • Proficiency using Microsoft Office suit of programs
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills
  • Current Working with Children Check for the State or Territory residing

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in an early childhood setting would be advantageous

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate the evaluation and monitoring of grant-funded initiatives
  • Write compelling grant applications
  • Manage acquittals, including maintaining master files and completing budget and reporting requirements
  • Identify new funding opportunities
  • Prepare business cases
  • Oversee the entire grant lifecycle, ensuring compliance with guidelines and managing audit requirements
  • Inform stakeholders of all aspects of grant management
  • Develop expertise in State and Federal funding processes
  • Build relationships with government personnel
  • Collaborate with teams across the organisation to support their funding applications
  • Drive the success of our kindergarten programs
