Position Summary The Funding Analyst is responsible for independently managing the revenue-based financing closing process, ensuring timely progression of the daily funding pipeline. This role focuses on preparing, reviewing, and documenting funding requests while strictly adhering to company policies and regulatory standards.

Requirements

  • 1–2 years of experience in customer service, sales, or financial services (e.g., banking, equipment leasing, merchant cash advance, or mortgage sales).
  • Strong ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Excellent organizational, prioritization, and problem-solving skills in fast-paced settings.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to build client rapport.
  • Quick learner with critical thinking and adaptability under pressure.
  • Commitment to confidentiality and responsible handling of sensitive information.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics, or equivalent experience.
  • Familiarity with financial services or lending processes.

Responsibilities

  • Independently close transactions with both accuracy and efficiency.
  • Manage and track the daily funding pipeline to ensure all processes progress smoothly and meet established timelines.
  • Conduct and document funding calls, assisting clients with bank verification for seamless transactions.
  • Secure all necessary internal approvals at each stage of the funding process.
  • Conduct comprehensive due diligence by validating all merchant and business information against submitted documentation (e.g., signed applications, tax returns, and ownership documents).
  • Draft, review, and revise contracts to ensure they meet both client and company requirements.
  • Maintain protocol compliance and detailed records of leads and progress.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory and internal standards, following operational controls to mitigate risk.
  • Maintain accurate and timely communication with clients to enhance their experience and expedite funding.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to quickly gather required documents and resolve any issues.
  • Develop comprehensive syndication packages for partners and investors, including key financial details.
  • Represent the company with integrity and professionalism.
