As a Fund Manager within PNC's Multi-Family Capital organization, you will preferably be based in Portland, OR. The Fund Manager will oversee the financial management and performance of multifamily and commercial real estate investment funds. This role is responsible for fund-level accounting, financial modeling, and cash flow execution to ensure accurate reporting, timely funding installments, and delivery of target returns to investors. Key responsibilities include managing fund financial models, coordinating and reviewing tax returns, administering capital calls and distributions, and monitoring fund performance against projected yields. The Fund Manager ensures that investor commitments, distributions, and return expectations are met in alignment with offering documents and investment strategy. The ideal candidate brings a strong accounting and financial modeling foundation, with experience in complex fund structures and real estate investments. Backgrounds from CPA firms or similar environments are strong fits, particularly candidates experienced in fund accounting, investor reporting, and financial analysis within real assets or private equity. This position may be eligible for remote work in select geographic locations, subject to approval by PNC. If approved, work must be conducted from a quiet, secure, and confidential home-based workspace. Occasional in-office participation may be required based on business needs. PNC will not provide sponsorship for employment visas or participate in STEM OPT for this position.

Responsibilities

  • Creates and manages performance of complex multi-investor and proprietary fund offerings from initial closing through term of the investment.
  • Evaluates and reports upon data consistent to fund performance.
  • Manages all aspects of fund closings and fund modifications that would affect fund metrics.
  • Analyzes and reporting fund-level metrics, elevating issues that might affect the fund to the manager of fund management, recommends alternative structures as appropriate.
  • Provides fund summary information and responds to investor questions.
  • Performs internal and external reporting on fund performance, ad hoc and specific analytic tasks as requested.
  • Develops and maintains the upper tier model to ensure assumptions are consistent with internal and investor requirements.
  • Assists with pricing analysis.
  • Evaluates requested transaction-level modifications and exceptions to guidelines for matters affecting the funds, including but not limited to early release of equity, changes to transactional cash flow, dispositions, etc.
  • Manages the process of investment fund capital and revenue through investment calls for investors and, as appropriate, calls on lines of credit as a means to manage capital.
