Role responsibilities include: Review complex fund financial reporting deliverables completed by third party service providers to verify accuracy, and assists in resolving issues. Act as a peer lead for the team. Lead the daily oversight process.

Requirements

  • Minimum of three years’ related business experience.
  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of training and experience.

  • Finance or Accounting degree preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Performs analytical review of reports for low to medium complexity funds for accuracy.
  • Validates results and performs control checks to ensure accurate results from service providers.
  • Assists in resolving data issues or requests for information.
  • Oversees the completion of the group's key deliverables.
  • Reviews selected financial reports for accuracy.
  • Supports dividend and capital gain distribution process and tax reporting functions as assigned.
  • Analyzes financial reports, and researches and resolves items that exceed established tolerance levels.
  • Completes fund financial statements and reports for shareholder and regulatory reporting in accordance with local regulatory reporting requirements.
  • Shares knowledge and assists colleagues with problem resolution.
  • Identifies and documents any areas of control gaps.
  • Recommends improvement measures and assists with the strengthening and maintenance of the internal control framework.
  • Maintains policies and procedures and identifies opportunities for improvement and makes recommendations for process improvements.
  • Ensures controls are implemented and executed to mitigate risk.
  • Develops and maintains broad understanding of regulatory reporting requirements and ensures compliance.
  • Keeps current on global regulatory changes that will affect fund financial statement disclosures, and works with third party service providers and auditors to develop and implement changes.
  • Facilitates the fund certification process, including scheduling and preparing necessary certification documents.
  • Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.
