About The Position

The Accounting Manager will be responsible for supporting the accounting and operations for one of the company's business development companies within its Global Private Debt Strategy. Responsibilities will include: Resolving cash reconciliation items; Reviewing daily transaction postings; Recording of monthly closing accruals; Calculating management and incentive fees; Reviewing and reconciling capital activities and statements maintained by the transfer agent: Preparation of monthly fund reporting and performance metrics; Coordinating with independent auditors, custodians, and transfer agents; Assist in the production of monthly and quarterly reporting for leverage facilities; Reviewing quarterly and annual 10-Q and 10-K SEC filings; Participate in projects and continuous process improvements for key deliverables; and Performing other tasks as required.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
  • 5-7 years of relevant fund accounting experience
  • Strong knowledge of reconciliation and account analysis
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to understand and resolve complex problems
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint

Nice To Haves

  • CPA preferred
  • Experience with Geneva and/or Geneva World Investor, accounting systems and Markit WSO (notice portal) is a plus
