About The Position
MUFG is seeking an Accountant Intern to join our team this summer. This individual's primary responsibility will be to ensure that cash transactions are recorded on a timely basis and that accounts are reconciled. A partial list of specific duties is below:
Requirements
- Actively pursuing a Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance
- Minimum GPA of 3.0
- Interest in pursuing a CPA license
- Proactive, resourceful, strong work ethic, team player
- Strong Excel and analytical skills
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Responsibilities
- Download bank reports
- Record and verify transactions including general ledger entries
- Prepare monthly reconciliation to include: Bank Statements
- Support ad-hoc projects
