About The Position

As part of this mission, we are seeking Alternative Investments Associates and Accountants to join our team. This role is integral to providing accounting, administration, and investor servicing for hedge funds, private equity funds, and closed-end registered products. The successful candidate will be responsible for calculating net asset values and disseminating financial and performance information to investment advisors and their investors. In this position, you will act as the primary fund accountant for multiple relationships, ensuring that all fund accounting functions are completed in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). Your responsibilities will include recording trade information, managing income and expense activity, and applying the valuation of securities within the portfolio accounting system. You will also enter and reconcile all investor contributions and withdrawals in the partnership accounting system, allocate fund-level profits to individual investors, and prepare and distribute investor statements. Additionally, you will review and coordinate fund expense analysis and processing, as well as prepare fund financial statements, audit schedules, and tax schedules. To succeed in this role, you will need a strong foundation in accounting principles and practices, as well as the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
