The Fund Accountant - Launch Program is designed to transition recent college graduates into their professional careers, providing them with a cross-functional understanding of the organization and a strong skills foundation. The program includes a mandatory 4-week immersive training period in Boston, MA from June 2 - June 27, 2025, after which participants will be placed in a hybrid role in the Chicago office. The program aims to expose graduates to various aspects of the financial services business, preparing them for future leadership roles. Participants will engage in project-based assignments, rotate through key functional areas, and have opportunities for professional development and networking.

  • Gain exposure to accounting, valuations, and investor services within SS&C's Hedge Fund Services and Private Markets groups.
  • Apply accounting principles to complex transactions and financial reporting.
  • Participate in transaction processing and pricing of complex securities.
  • Contribute to real business challenges through project-based assignments.
  • Engage in professional development activities and networking opportunities.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field with a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0.
  • 0 - 2 years of relevant experience (recent graduates from May 2024 to May 2025).
  • Strong client service skills and ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Commitment to timely and accurate production of client deliverables.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with excellent attention to detail.
  • Strong academic foundation in financial accounting.
  • Expected compensation of $70,000 annually for Bachelor's degree holders and $75,000 for Master's degree holders.
