Role Overview As a Functional Transportation Management Lead at the Senior Consulting Manager level, you will lead large-scale IT and SAP implementation/migration programs. This role requires exceptional program management skills, strategic oversight, and the ability to engage senior stakeholders to deliver complex, high-value programs.
Requirements
- 12-15 years of experience in SAP TM with a strong advisory background and hands-on solutioning expertise for large-scale S/4HANA implementations.
- Deep knowledge of Transportation Planning, Freight Order Management, Carrier Selection, Freight Settlement, and seamless integration with SD and EWM modules.
- Strong track record of delivering complex enterprise solutions in global consulting environments.
- Exceptional leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
- Experience in advisory roles within top-tier consulting firms.
- Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship.
Responsibilities
- Lead enterprise-level TM design sessions, ensuring alignment with logistics strategies and operational efficiency goals.
- Develop and validate detailed FSDs and TDDs for TM functionalities, incorporating complex transportation scenarios and compliance requirements.
- Conduct solution workshops with business stakeholders and technical teams to finalize TM architecture and integration points.
- Provide strategic guidance on transportation optimization, cost reduction, and leveraging advanced TM functionalities for competitive advantage.
- Manage TM implementation teams, ensuring delivery excellence, adherence to timelines, and proactive risk mitigation.
- Oversee testing phases, cutover planning, and hyper care support for TM solutions, ensuring smooth transition and minimal business disruption.
- Engage with senior stakeholders to align TM solutions with enterprise objectives and regulatory standards.
- Ensure compliance with transportation regulations, enterprise security policies, and audit frameworks while driving innovation in logistics processes.
