About The Position

The Functional Systems Trainer at Harbor Freight Tools will be instrumental in enhancing associate knowledge of the Relex system and other systems used within the Inventory Department. This remote position involves training across various departments and levels, providing continuous support for system enhancements, and ensuring the relevance and accuracy of training materials.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Data Analytics, Data Science, Computer Science or related field
• 5+ years of expert level experience in Relex Inventory Planning software
• Demonstrated experience or knowledge of SQL, Python, Tableau, Data Bricks or other technical tools for data analysis
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Experience in developing training programs and materials for ongoing system enhancements

Nice To Haves

• Experience in other Inventory planning systems or demand forecasting tools
• Relex Super User with demonstrated experience in being a go-to expert

Responsibilities

• Create and deliver standard training programs for multiple positions within Inventory
• Develop ongoing training material for various positions within the organization
• Identify areas where additional training may be needed based on user requests
• Develop SOPs for new processes/process changes and monitor compliance
• Assist with the rollout of new programs or systems
• Collaborate with various departments to tailor systems training content
• Update systems knowledge when updates or upgrades occur
• Provide lateral and group onboarding support
• Develop system expertise to become a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for technical business design of the system
• Conduct hands-on training sessions virtually or in person
• Design and implement effective onboarding systems training programs
