About The Position

This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Functional Solution Architect - REMOTE. In this role, you will play a critical part in enhancing the way our partner collaborates with their clients. Your expertise will be key in translating complex customer processes into tailored solutions, ensuring high adoption rates throughout the customer lifecycle. You will be responsible for driving discovery sessions, crafting functional designs, and engaging directly with customers to optimize their experiences. The impact of your work will contribute to a more efficient workflow for product teams and improve client satisfaction as they implement innovative digital solutions.

Requirements

  • 5–8+ years of experience in retail, apparel, footwear, or consumer goods in a functional consulting or SaaS implementation role
  • Hands-on experience configuring SaaS platforms, including workflows and data models
  • Experience working directly with customers in a client-facing role, leading workshops and training
  • Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills
  • Comfort operating in ambiguity and shaping internal processes in a growing organization

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary functional owner for assigned customer implementations from discovery through post-go-live optimization
  • Build trusted relationships with customer stakeholders across merchandising, design, and sales roles
  • Lead functional discovery sessions to understand customer workflows, requirements, pain points, and KPIs
  • Translate business requirements into functional solution designs aligned with platform capabilities
  • Define scalable configurations balancing customer specificity with long-term maintainability
  • Configure the platform directly or lead implementation teams on configuration
  • Validate configurations through functional testing and support user acceptance testing
  • Troubleshoot functional and configuration-related issues during implementation and after go-live
  • Define and document data models that support customer processes
  • Guide customers through data onboarding, including data cleanup, mapping, validation, and migration
  • Partner with technical teams to support integrations and data flows
  • Develop and deliver training sessions, workshops, and enablement materials
  • Monitor customer adoption and success metrics post-launch
  • Act as a bridge between customers and Product teams during implementations
  • Support early validation or rollout of new functional capabilities with customers
  • Partner closely with Product and Engineering to align solutions with standards
  • Contribute to internal best practices for functional implementations
  • Support pre-sales discovery and demonstrations as a functional subject matter expert
