Functional Solution Architect – Salesforce (Engineer Lead) Location: This role requires associates to be in-office 1 day per week, fostering collaboration and connectivity, while providing flexibility to support productivity and work-life balance. This approach combines structured office engagement with the autonomy of virtual work, promoting a dynamic and adaptable workplace. Ideal candidates will be able to report to our Pulse Point location in Woodland Hills, CA. Alternate locations may be considered if candidates reside within a commuting distance from an office. The Functional Solution Architect – Salesforce (Engineer Lead) is responsible for designing scalable, user-centric Salesforce solutions that align with business goals and enterprise architecture standards. This role serves as a bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring that Salesforce implementations deliver measurable value and operational efficiency. How you will make an impact: Collaborates with business and IT stakeholders to gather and analyze functional requirements for Salesforce solutions. Leads functional design sessions and translates business needs into Salesforce capabilities, including Health Cloud, Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, and custom applications. Defines solution architecture and ensures alignment with Salesforce out-of-the-box capability, best practices and industry standards. Partners with technical architects and developers to ensure accurate implementation of functional designs. Owns the functional roadmap for Salesforce, including enhancements, integrations, and user experience improvements. Facilitates workshops and Joint Application Design (JAD) sessions to drive consensus on solution features and workflows. Supports change management and training efforts by creating functional documentation and user guides. Conducts impact assessments for new features, releases, and integrations. Ensures compliance with data governance, security, and regulatory requirements within the Salesforce ecosystem. Leads vendor evaluations and contributes to platform strategy and selection. Provides mentorship to business analysts and junior team members. Implements improvements in stability, performance, and scalability across major business-critical systems. Implements process to reduce barriers and roadblocks in projects, services, and processes in order to operate more efficiently. Develops and owns list of final enhancements. Develops and defines application scope and objectives and supervises the preparation of technical and/or functional specifications from with programs will be written. Performs technical design reviews and code reviews. Ensures unit test is completed and meets the test plan requirements, system testing is completed and system is implemented according to plan. Delivers technology solutions and data information planning effort. Coordinates and manages on-call support and owns the system monitoring process. Owns the technical development environment and works on the Enterprise team.
