This Functional Safety internship opportunity will provide hands-on experience in the application of Functional Safety principles and methodologies through a project.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, automotive engineering, systems engineering, manufacturing engineering, mathematics, or any related field
  • Must have completed at least two years of undergraduate education.
  • Minimum of 18 years of age
  • Detail-oriented and strong willingness to learn new things.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills

Responsibilities

  • Work with engineering teams to derive Functional safety requirements.
  • Work with internal Functional safety team to improve and update Functional safety templates.
  • Participate in safety review meetings.
  • Assist in the creation and development of various Functional safety WPs such as Safety Plans, Item Definition, and safety verification reports.
  • Help track and resolve safety-related issues that arise throughout the development process.
