The Functional Family Therapist I-II applies the Functional Family Therapy (FFT) model in their work, including participation in ongoing consultation with FFT LLC and the treatment team. The Functional Family Therapy model is an in-home and evidence based model that allows flexible hours. This position engages clients and families in a manner that demonstrates immediate responsiveness to family needs and maintaining a strength-based relational focus. Works autonomously and utilizes strong management skills while remaining flexible in changing environments. The FFT Therapist I-II utilizes the CSS system to document services and to plan treatment according to the FFT model as well as other systems required, such as Avatar, to manage confidential client information. Assures quality service for clients by addressing core issues within the family that contributed to the reasons for referral. Maintains agency credibility by establishing working relationships with sponsoring, advisory, and related service agencies via positive and timely communication. The FFT Therapist I-II promotes the agency by ensuring an understanding of program services available for clients, publicizing activities and accomplishments and adhering to a professional code of ethics. Maintains professional and technical knowledge by participating in workshops, reviewing professional publications and establishing personal networks. Maximum caseload of 12 families. This therapist will primary serve the Jackson County Missouri area.
