About The Position

Delta Faucet Company is seeking a detail-oriented individual with exceptional communications and writing skills to fill a full-time, two-year contract position. As the Functional Communications and Engagement Leader, you will drive the development and execution of communication and engagement strategies for high-visibility, critical initiatives within the company. Your primary objective will be to enhance internal awareness, understanding, engagement, and activation of key projects and achievements aligned with the company's growth strategy. You will also collaborate with thought partners to craft change management plans that drive engagement and adoption.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, journalism or related field, or equivalent practical work experience.
  • Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in communication subject area.
  • Experience developing, leading, and inspiring peers.
  • Experience working through growing organization and deploy organizational change practices.
  • Strong written, presentation, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive communication and change management strategy, aligned with organizational and functional objectives.
  • Craft clear, consistent, and compelling messaging tailored for diverse audiences including executives, board members, salaried and hourly employees, external partners, and local communities.
  • Provide guidance on communications, change management, and employee engagement to the company executives, supply chain and service leaders and other key collaborators.
  • Collaborate with team members to communicate organizational changes effectively, ensuring employees are advised and understand the rationale behind the changes.
  • Collaborate with executive leaders and human resources to drive employee engagement initiatives.
  • Lead the development of internal communications materials including emails, talking points, intranet content, executive updates, timelines, press releases, presentations, and other collateral.
  • Travel to domestic sites to maintain engagement and gather context for effective communication delivery.
  • Establish and manage feedback channels to gather insights from employees and key partners.
