About The Position

CGI is seeking aFunctional Business Analystwith strong data expertise to supportOperational ReportingandFinance Reportinginitiatives. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between business needs and technical solutions, ensuring accurate, timely, and actionable insights for decision-making.

Requirements

  • Strong communication skills with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proven experience in data analysis, reporting, and business process documentation.
  • Hands-on experience with Operational Reporting and Finance Reporting tools and methodologies.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with Agency Management Systems (AMS) is a plus.
  • Insurance industry experience is highly desirable.
  • Agile experience is highly desirable.
  • Proficiency in SQL and reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, or similar) is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document requirements for Operational and Financial Reporting.
  • Work closely with data and security teams to ensure data integrity, consistency, and compliance with business rules.
  • Support UI, data, security testing and deployment of reporting solutions across multiple environments.
  • Provide training and documentation for end-users on reporting tools and processes.
  • Act as a liaison between business units, technical teams, and other Data & Reporting Business Analysts to ensure alignment and clarity.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies and drive Agile best practices.
