About The Position

Planned Systems International, LLC (PSI) is seeking a skilled Functional Area Analyst to support our Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Office of Information and Technology (OIT) customer. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or 8 years relevant experience
  • Degree in engineering, or a related scientific or technical discipline is required
  • 5 years related experience required.
  • Must have considerable experience with the analysis of business, functional, technical, activities, and events.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Tier II Moderate Risk Background Investigation.
  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience supporting large Cabinet-level federal agencies, ideally the Department of Veterans Affairs.
  • Ability to work with users and customers to document and strategize for process improvements for current business processes.
  • Provides market research on conditions that impact the overall operational efficiency of an organization.
  • Identifies symptoms for process improvement.
  • Ability to get up to speed quickly on complex issues; desire to work in a fast-paced, rapidly evolving environment.
  • Capable self-starter with a drive to get all types of work done and high attention to detail.
  • Excellent ability to communicate across most mediums and settings.
  • Knowledge of military and Veteran populations.

Responsibilities

  • Manage invoices for payment from large, contracted vendors supporting healthcare for Veterans.
  • Work with users and customers to document and strategize process improvements for current business processes (business process reengineering)
  • Responsible for providing market research on conditions that impact the overall operational efficiency of the organization, while identifying symptoms for process improvement.
