Requirements

• Completion of a formal Radiography program with associated certificate or degree for Fully Licensed Rad Tech.
• Licensed with IEMA.
• American Heart Association (BLS for Health Care Providers) completed within 2 weeks of hire.
• ARRt (R) registry eligible and must complete ARRT registry within 6 months of hire for Fully Licensed Rad Tech.
• High School Diploma/GED and 1 year healthcare experience for Limited License Rad Tech.
• Limited scope testing certification provided by ARRT for Limited License Rad Tech.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience as a medical office assistant or CNA or equivalent.
• Previous experience with an electronic health record and phlebotomy.
• Knowledge of urgent care medical specialty.
• Knowledge of medical terminology.
• Knowledge of Epic.
• Exceptional customer service and phone etiquette.
• Current certification as a radiology technician with The American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.

Responsibilities

• Manage clerical and clinical tasks in the urgent care setting.
• Perform imaging, registration, vitals, and drug screens.
• Ensure a seamless patient experience.
• Float between various facilities as needed.
