About The Position

Permian Labs is the developer of USD.AI, a yield-bearing synthetic dollar backed by AI infrastructure assets. USD.AI allows emerging AI cloud providers efficiently finance GPU expansion by leverage these income-generating assets as collateral. By combining deep underwriting expertise with transparent, on-chain infrastructure, USD.AI provides flexible, non-recourse financing to AI infrastructure operators and sustainable, yield-bearing opportunities to capital providers. The Senior FullStack Developer role calls for someone who's excited to act both as an individual contributor who is self-motivated and can function in a high-autonomy role and as a team leader, bringing high-level structure to our code base and guiding a group of engineers to build the next generation of financial technology. You will gain ownership over our existing suite of web products, as well as the ability to influence the creation, design, and execution of future products. You will be responsible for ensuring a consistent, high-quality user experience across transactional interfaces, data-heavy analytics pages, homepages, documentation portals and more.

Requirements

7+ years of software engineering experience
5+ years of experience with our codestack tools (includes React, Next.js, Nest.js, wagmi, Solidity)
Prior experience working with component libraries in user-facing applications
A deep understanding of the architecture of modern client-side React applications
Familiarity with the web3 frontend stack (Wagmi/Viem, subgraphs, sending transactions, querying blockchain, etc.). Crypto experience is not required but nice to have.
Familiarity with backend database management
Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work cross-functionally

Responsibilities

Own end to end development of core products as both individual contributor and team leader. Build out our 'borrower' ecosystem suite of tools.
Ensure seamless integration with Web3 technologies
Create trustworthy user experiences by building interfaces that are simple, easy to comprehend, performant and reliable using tools like React, Typescript, Next.js, etc.
Collaborate with designers and backend engineers to implement new features and integrations
Maintain high-quality, scalable, and reusable codebases for user-facing applications
Understand when and how to run UI tests
