About The Position
Piper Companies is looking for a Fullstack Developer to join a government contractor in Fort Meade, MD. This role requires the candidate to report onsite 3x a week and have an active Secret Clearance
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree preferred and 8+ years of relevant experience with Java/React Development
- Experience developing code in microservice-based architectures
- 3+ years of Agile experience utilizing DevSecOps & CI/CD pipelines
- Familiarity with the DoD STIG process
- Active Secret security clearance required
Responsibilities
- Participate in the full agile application development life cycle for microservice API development using Java Spring Boot in support of a React front-end web application
- Work collaboratively as a full stack developer on Agile Scrum teams and complete user stories and develop usable code independently with minimal oversight and guidance
- Assist development/test teams in activities in support of acceptance testing, load testing, troubleshooting, and performance tuning as required
- Communicate committed stories for the upcoming sprint to backlog owners and stakeholders, and demonstrate functionality when complete or requested
