About The Position

We are seeking full time X-Ray Technologists to serve a busy Urgent Care center in Rockaway, NJ. The position requires working shortened weekend hours, with a schedule of Mon-Fri from 8am-8pm and Sat-Sun from 8am-4pm. The work schedule includes block scheduling of 3x12's, then 2x12's and 2x8's. Candidates must be willing to work every other weekend.

Requirements

• Ability to maintain effective and organized systems to ensure timely patient flow
• Knowledge of medical terminology
• Exceptional customer service and phone etiquette
• Diligent maintenance of QC records
• Diagnostic Radiography license with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
• BLS through the American Heart Association

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for x-rays following established procedures for patient care and safety
• Exercise professional judgment and provide patient care essential to the radiology procedures
• Obtain quality diagnostic radiographs as requested by providers, including orthopedic images
• Triage patients, and provide basic point of care testing after training
• Assist other staff members (Certified Medical Assistants, Medical Office Associates, Providers) as needed
• Support triaging and point of care testing, as needed, after training
• Must be available to work evenings and weekends
• All other duties as assigned by Practice Operations Manager or Practice Administrator
