About The Position

Caterpillar Inc. is seeking Warehouse Associates for its Product Support and Logistics Division (PSLD) at the Clayton Distribution Center. This role is essential in supporting customers by ensuring timely delivery of parts from distribution centers. The position involves various material handling tasks, operating equipment, and maintaining safety standards while contributing to a collaborative team environment.

Requirements

• Consistent usage of required PPE and safety procedures for tasks being performed.
• Demonstrated longevity of at least six consecutive months in previous employment.
• Experience operating sit-down forklifts, cherry/order pickers, and/or reach trucks.

Responsibilities

• Safely perform material handling and warehousing processes for receiving, processing, storing, moving, packing, and shipping parts, materials, equipment, and supplies.
• Operate handheld scanners for receiving, counting, and order processing.
• Be trained on and operate cherry/order pickers, reach trucks, sit-down forklifts, and overhead cranes/hoists.
• Report defects and need for repairs.
• Utilize pneumatic tools and/or power tools to build and construct wooden shipping containers.
• Apply paint and rust preventative as needed.
• Perform housekeeping functions as required.
• Complete other duties as assigned by management.
