About The Position
The Visual Specialist position at The Container Store is a full-time role that plays a crucial part in leading the visual efforts within the store. This includes responsibilities such as maintenance, merchandising, and merchandise processing, all aimed at clearly conveying the organized brand to customers. The Visual Specialist is expected to understand sales goals and work collaboratively with the store team to achieve these objectives, recognizing the significant impact that visual presentation has on the store's sales success. The role requires a commitment to a flexible schedule, including daytime, evenings, weekends, and early mornings, totaling 38-40 hours per week. In this role, the Visual Specialist will lead and execute daily product maintenance routines, direct the setup of marketing campaigns, and ensure timely execution of new product introductions. They will also oversee the P.A.C.E program for processing merchandise, partner with the Operations Manager and Inventory Specialists to maintain stockroom organization, and train staff on merchandising guidelines. The Visual Specialist will ensure that the store's visual presentation aligns with the brand, engage with customers to address their organizational challenges, and be accountable for achieving sales goals in partnership with the store team.
