About The Position

The Valet Attendant at Choctaw Landing is responsible for parking and delivering vehicles for casino patrons, ensuring the safety of their vehicles while providing excellent customer service. This role involves assisting guests with their vehicles, communicating effectively with dispatchers, and maintaining a clean and safe environment in the parking area. The position requires a commitment to following established procedures and promoting the hotel’s services to enhance guest experience.

Requirements

• Must pass a driving test administered by the department before an offer is made.
• Knowledge of customer service principles and processes.
• Knowledge of defensive driving techniques.
• Clear driving record with no major violations or accidents in the past two years.
• Prior experience in public or private transportation.

Responsibilities

• Open the door for guests at the hotel entrance and assist with luggage unloading.
• Assist customers when entering or exiting their vehicles.
• Extend a warm welcome and appreciation to every guest.
• Provide information about hotel features, services, and local points of interest.
• Drive designated vehicles safely following established traffic procedures.
• Check and note any damage to vehicles before driving.
• Ensure vehicles are locked and keys are returned to valet.
• Retrieve vehicles safely, opening doors for guests and thanking them for their visit.
• Communicate with dispatchers via radio to exchange information and receive requests.
• Report any suspicious activity on casino grounds.
• Remove or report any obstructions or hazards in the parking lot.
• Perform errands for customers or managers as needed.
• Familiarize with hotel products, events, and promotions to maximize revenue.
• Follow established procedures of the Choctaw Nation and local management.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by management.
