We are seeking candidates to join the faculty in a full-time tenure-track position in Computer Science at the Assistant Professor level starting Fall of 2026. We are particularly interested in candidates whose research and teaching interests are primarily in cybersecurity.

Requirements

• A PhD in Computer Science, or a closely related field before the start of the position
• Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to collaborate and effectively communicate with faculty, staff, and students
• Knowledge of current trends and practices in the field

• Interest and abilities to teach courses in cybersecurity, along with other computer science courses

Responsibilities

• Teaching courses in several areas and at all levels of computer science, but primarily cybersecurity courses
• Guiding, advising, and mentoring students
• Establish and maintain a robust research agenda that aligns with and advances the mission of the School, including pursuing high-quality scholarly work such as peer-reviewed journal articles, conference publications, grant-funded projects, and student-mentored research
• Engagement in university and community service appropriate to interests
