About The Position

The Full-Time Teller position at Wintrust Financial involves processing various financial transactions while providing excellent customer service. Requirements

• Minimum 6 months of experience in cash handling or customer service.
• High school degree or equivalent.
• Must be available to work all shifts including Saturdays.
• Must be able to lift 30 lbs.
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time.

Responsibilities

• Process a variety of financial transactions including check cashing, withdrawals, deposits, and loan payments.
• Accurately balance transactions and operate a teller drawer to serve customers and bank personnel.
• Recognize potential cross-sell opportunities and direct customers to appropriate bank personnel.
• Develop skills to recognize potential fraud and report to management as necessary.
• Comply with all department, bank, and regulatory policies and procedures.
• Uphold established Wintrust culture.
• May be responsible for bank opening/closing and participate in community events.
