About The Position

The Telecommunications Operator is responsible for managing incoming calls, dispatching emergency services, and providing information to the public. This role requires effective communication skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks, especially in high-pressure situations. The operator will work under general supervision and must be flexible with their schedule, including working on holidays and weekends as needed.

Requirements

• High school graduate or equivalent
• At least 6 months of equivalent experience and training
• Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing
• Ability to work with the general public
• Ability to use radio and electronic data communication
• Ability to handle several tasks at one time

Responsibilities
