About The Position

Be part of a team that stands with and supports people with disabilities to pursue their best lives! One Vision is seeking Team Leads for our Clear Lake HCBS Sites. The starting wage for Team Lead with Previous IDD experience is $22.00. We are looking for you if you love supporting individuals to champion their choices for independence, breaking down barriers and building lasting relationships, working in an open and transparent environment, and providing innovative ways to support those we serve. Our Team Leads supervise our Direct Support Professionals to provide support to individuals with intellectual and physical disabilities. The Team Lead role includes but is not limited to supervising a team of no more than 5 who support our individuals with daily living skills including housekeeping, laundry, cooking, hygiene, and self-administration of medications. In addition to daily work, the Team Lead ensures that the team is properly trained to support individuals according to One Vision's standards, ensuring the safety of individuals and staff, and ensuring compliance requirements are met for federal, state, and national accreditation requirements.

Requirements

• High School education/GED with 5 years of experience supporting individuals with disabilities preferred.
• OR BA/BS degree in Human Service-related field with 2 years of experience supporting individuals with disabilities preferred.
• Prior team leader or supervision experience preferred.
• Medication Manager certification required (Opportunity to become certified within 6 months).
• Utilize Mandt Certified skills.
• Basic computer skills are needed to complete documentation.
• Current driver's license and proof of auto insurance.
• Requires some physical activity bending, kneeling, stooping, and lifting or use of lifts for some individuals.
• Offer of employment is contingent upon a background check, drug screen, and physical assessment to occasionally lift to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities
