St. Luke's has three Children's Centers. We currently have a strong need for Full Time Teachers at our First Kid's Learning Center location on 4th and Robinson, Downtown Oklahoma City. We are offering a $200 sign-on bonus, after 90 days, for that specific location. St. Luke’s Children’s Centers are only as good as their teachers and our best asset is our people. Use appropriate tools to develop and create lesson plans Provide a variety of developmentally appropriate activities and challenges as the children develop. Comply with OK Department of Human Services Licensing, Oklahoma Health Department, and USDA-CACF guidelines and requirements Essential Job Functions: Plan the daily program for children with an assigned development group which will encourage each child’s growth in the areas of emotional, social, cognitive, and physical development. Establish and maintain a safe and healthy learning environment. Create an environment in which children can learn in a manner consistent with the philosophy and goals of the church and center. Treat each child with dignity and respect. Participate in all staff training sessions, meetings and programs as requested by the Director and as sponsored by the center. Each teacher is responsible for completing their required training hours each year Maintain professional conduct in working with parents and staff, as well as visitors and the general public. Perform other duties of center staff as required. Including but not limited to cleaning, cooking and driving, in temporary absences of the people in these positions, as requested. Responsibilities
