About The Position

As a Full-Time Store Associate at ALDI, you will play a vital role in enhancing the customer shopping experience by merchandising and stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining cleanliness in the store. This position requires collaboration with team members and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service.
• Ability to operate a cash register efficiently and accurately.
• Ability to safely and properly operate equipment, including electric/manual hand jack, floor scrubber, and cardboard baler.
• Ability to perform general cleaning duties to company standards.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work both independently and within a team environment.
• Ability to stay organized, give attention to detail, follow instructions, and multi-task efficiently.
• Meet any state and local requirements for handling and selling alcoholic beverages.

Nice To Haves

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior work experience in a retail environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Process customer purchases and operate the cash register efficiently and accurately.
• Perform general cleaning duties to maintain store standards.
• Stock shelves and merchandise displays neatly and accurately.
• Assist customers with their shopping experience and provide exceptional customer service.
• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management.
• Provide feedback to management regarding products, inventory losses, and general issues.
• Participate in taking store inventory counts and monitor inventory for accuracy.
• Adhere to cash policies and procedures to minimize losses.
• Comply with all established company policies and procedures, ensuring security and confidentiality of documents and data.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
