About The Position

You will help maintain a clean, sanitized and orderly kitchen to ensure the highest standards are achieved throughout the food and beverage operations.

Requirements

• Must obtain a SERV Safe Certification.
• Basic knowledge in the use of housekeeping/cleaning equipment and knowledge of chemicals as it relates to MSDS.
• Understand government public health and/or safety regulations.
• Verbalize and respond to guests and fellow coworkers.
• General computer/keyboarding skills.

Responsibilities

• Thoroughly clean equipment and facilities to conform to proper sanitation standards.
• Wash pots, pans, and traps while maintaining the neat appearance of working areas and cleaning equipment storage areas.
• Clean and disinfect walls, sinks, countertops, floors, tables, chairs, refrigerators, microwaves, and other areas of food service areas.
• Clean and replace floor mats.
• Support the dish room, operating dish machine.
• Empty and clean garbage cans in dish area and throughout kitchen.
• Perform other responsibilities as may be assigned.
