About The Position

The Slot Technician is responsible to monitor the performance of electronic gaming devices, activity, and conditions of casino gaming areas ensuring all slot machines are operable and in good repair. Ensure compliance with approved procedures for the slot areas in a professional manner. The Slot Technician is a first level ambassador for guests enjoying their gaming experience at a gaming device. Protects company assets by adhering to company policies and all state and regulatory compliance to include Internal Controls Policies and Procedures and the Responsible Gaming Plan. The Slot Technician is responsible for providing an exciting environment and World Class Service by delivering Old-World Hospitality and Charm.

Requirements

• Must be a minimum of 18 years of age
• Possess professionalism and ability to handle high levels of stress
• Must be flexible with all different schedules
• Associates degree in electronics or related field preferred
• Must have a High School Diploma or equivalent
• Minimum two years of experience as a Slot Technician / Bench Technician with A+ Certification preferred
• Must have excellent computer skills
• Working knowledge of word processors and spreadsheets
• Ability to read, analyze, interpret, and comprehend technical procedures, government regulations, instructions, and correspondence/memos

Responsibilities

• Responsible for guest service with energy and professionalism, providing excitement and world class service
• Required to know and deliver the company core values
• Maintains the electronic components, systems, and peripherals of gaming machines
• Repairs and modifies components, electric systems and peripherals of the gaming machines and kiosks
• Configures slot and video machines to meet manufacturers and regulatory agency specifications
• Removes, moves, installs and/or upgrades slot machines
• Maintains an inventory of parts for the slot machines
• Monitors and tracks the slot machine malfunctions, the cause, the repair, and the parts involved
• Tracks and records all test money usage and testing results
• Notifies shift supervisor of irregularities in customers play
• Maintains a clean and safe environment
• Required to enthusiastically supports, actively promotes, and demonstrates superior customer service in accordance with department and company standards and programs
• Required to effectively handles customer concerns and requests
• Required to always maintain complete confidentiality of all company information
• Acts in the capacity of other positions on an as needed basis
• Performs all job duties in a safe and responsible manner
• Performs other duties as may be assigned by department and/or company management
