About The Position

The position involves repairing, operating, rehabilitating, and providing general maintenance to park rides and equipment. The role requires performing daily mechanical inspections and repairs, maintaining and troubleshooting amusement rides and park equipment, and ensuring compliance with safety rules and regulations. The individual will also maintain records for maintenance and inspections performed and work collaboratively with other departments as needed.

Requirements

• One to Two years of maintenance experience involving industrial or heavy equipment maintenance and mechanical repair procedures
• Varied skill set including knowledge of general maintenance, welding, and machine shop repair
• Ability to work varied shifts, days, nights, and weekends including extended hours when required
• Willingness to work under various weather conditions
• Physically able to climb stairs and ride units with heights of 50 or more feet
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods of time
• Ability to stoop, bend, and lift regularly
• Self-motivated and able to perform tasks with minimal supervision
• At least 18 years of age and possess a high school diploma or equivalent
• Able to provide own basic hand tools
• Possess a valid driver's license and a good driving record, and successfully complete all authorized employment screenings and criminal background checks

Responsibilities
