Lakeside's comprehensive programs treat disorders such as bipolar disorder, psychological trauma, depression and anxiety, mental illnesses, and addictive disease disorders such as alcoholism, drug addiction, and substance abuse.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree required.
• Bachelor's in Recreation Therapy preferred and Bachelor's in related field of Art, Music or Exercise/Fitness required.
• CTRS or Licensed in Specialty Therapy preferred.
• One year experience in working with a mental health population.
• Prefer knowledge of group leadership skills, age-specific growth and development, crisis and behavior management.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient's leisure and recreational activities.
• Provide age and developmentally appropriate therapy groups.
• Establish behavioral treatment goals in a manner consistent with the philosophy and objectives of Lakeside Behavioral Health.
