About The Position

The personal assistant/office manager will support a busy lawyer in Dallas, Texas, by managing both personal and professional tasks. This role requires exceptional organizational skills and the ability to handle sensitive matters with discretion. The position is primarily in-office, with some potential for remote work, especially during the initial transition to a new office space.

Requirements

  • Must have 5+ years prior experience in a similar role as an executive/personal assistant
  • Candidates with accounting, bookkeeping or paralegal skills will be considered
  • Flexibility to flow between personal and professional tasks
  • Must be able to adhere to an NDA
  • Desire for a long-term professional relationship
  • US passport, Green Card or EAC
  • Ability to start before January

Responsibilities

  • Manage schedules and appointments including coordinating meetings and vendors for home
  • Book and manage all travel logistics, including flights, accommodations, ground transportation, and itineraries
  • Provide support to Principal and his family
  • Assist with personal and professional correspondence
  • Screen phone calls
  • Conduct research on various topics and provide summaries or reports as needed
  • Day-to-day organization including both physical and digital keeping of files
  • Liaison with clients and colleagues on behalf of Principal
  • Review invoices and pay bills
  • General office support and ad hoc tasks
