Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of healthcare experience or completion of a clinical rotation in a nursing program or related health care training.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) or Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification required within 30 days of hire.
• Knowledge of body mechanics and transfer techniques.

Nice To Haves

• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in a health sciences field.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine patient care and support department services according to established policies and procedures.
• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, feeding, and transporting patients.
• Monitor and record vital signs and assist with simple dressings and specimen collections.
• Communicate effectively with the healthcare team and maintain a safe patient environment.
• Document in medical records and comply with safety policies.
• Contribute to universal unit activities, including responding to call lights and passing meal trays.
