This position will provide counseling services to the needs of the Ferrum College student population.

Conduct intake assessments, and other needed assessments for students.
Provide short-term interventions to appropriate students.
Maintain all record keeping, obtain appropriate releases.
Recognize and respond appropriately to students in crisis.
Refer to community resources as needed.
Discuss any relevant student needs with the Director of Counseling to present during Care Team meetings.

Master's Degree
License for Clinical Practice in Virginia (Preferred)
