About The Position

Functional Pathways is currently hiring at The Chesapeake in Newport News, VA, for a Full-time Occupational Therapist. The Occupational Therapist shall screen, evaluate, re-evaluate, discharge plan and make revisions in any established plan of care as supervised by the Physician.

Requirements

• Bachelor's, Master's or Doctorate degree in occupational therapy from an accredited program.
• Certification and licensure requirements as established by state and national board associations.
• Active state license.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Current working knowledge of Functional Pathways policies and procedures.
• Completion of all required screenings, certifications, and licensure.

Responsibilities

• Screen, evaluate, and re-evaluate patients.
• Develop and implement discharge plans.
• Make revisions to established plans of care as supervised by the Physician.
