About The Position

A family in Warren is seeking a patient, live-out nanny to provide care and support for their three children, aged 2, 4, and 7 years old. The schedule involves a flexible arrangement between the nanny and the au pair,with shifts covering mornings and afternoons. Shifts are from 6:30 am until 1:30 pm on some days and 1:30 pm until 8:30 pm on others. The position requires flexibility and collaboration with both the household staff and Mom. The ideal nanny for this family is a caring, responsible, and patient caregiver who is energetic, experienced, and able to create a safe and nurturing environment for the children. Seeking someone who is intelligent, confident, and kind, with a natural ability to de-escalate situations and take initiative. The candidate should be a strong team player and supportive of Mom and the household, always accommodating the family's needs. Nanny must be able to collaborate with Mom and the au pair, as they will be working as a team with all three children. Given the children's high activity levels and unique personalities, this family is looking for someone capable of matching the children’s energy while maintaining a safe environment. The youngest child is 2 years old and is bright, cheerful, and playful, reflecting the typical energy of toddlers. She will be in daycare for most of the day and enjoys activities such as art and gymnastics. The middle child, who is 4 years old, tends to be calmer than the other two children. He is having trouble and is displaying a lot of attention seeking behaviors with mom. Mom has taken over the typical day-to-day care for the middle child given the situation however she still feels that if the caregiver creates a bond this will be a lack of an issue However, he is still energetic and occasionally displays some adventurousness. Initially, he may be shy when meeting new people, but overall, he is very sweet. The oldest, who is 7 years old, is an energetic, confident, and expressive child with a charismatic personality. He has been diagnosed with ADHD. His afterschool activities have not yet been finalized but possibilities include Italian classes, therapy, sports, and emotion regulation classes. This is a health-conscious household. The family aims to minimize the intake of unhealthy foods whenever possible. Mom is friendly, outgoing, supportive, and well-organized. She values having a sense of control and maintains high standards for her children, all within a positive and communicative environment. Dad has a laid-back personality but travels frequently, which often results in his being less active at home. The caregiver will never be alone with all three children. The household works as a team, with a minimum of a 2 to 3 ratio of adults to child ratio on any given day.
