About The Position

We are currently looking for a Full-Time Nanny in San Diego, CA (92122) A lovely family in North Clairemont, in the San Diego area is seeking a full-time nanny to assist with their infant who will be 7 months old at the time of start. This full-time position will commence June 1, 2026. The ideal candidate will be warm, caring, and have a genuine love for childcare. Experience with infants is a must, and knowledge of developmental milestones is a plus. We value open communication, gentle caregiving, and a collaborative relationship with our nanny. Parents work outside the home, and we are hoping to find someone who can grow with our family long-term. Start date: June 1st, 2026 Length of position: Ongoing, long-term Schedule: Monday-Friday (with every other Thursday off) Hours: 7:30am to 4:30pm Guaranteed hours provided each week 36 to 45 hours per week, with every other Thursday off Rate: $25-$30 per hour (based on experience) 1 child: 7 months old, girl Responsibilities All aspects of care and monitoring for one infant Engaging in developmentally appropriate activities to support milestones Strong understanding of infant development, sleep routines, and introducing solids Bottle feeding and solid food feeding Diaper changes Maintaining the child’s schedule and routines as set by parents Communicating effectively with parents regarding daily activities, progress, and any concerns Maintaining a clean and organized child environment (baby dishes, bottles, laundry, organizing toys) Daily stroller walks in the neighborhood (weather permitting) Requirements Legally authorized to work in the United States 2+ years of paid, professional infant care experience Must be able to provide at least two professional childcare references CPR certified or willing to become certified Valid photo ID Must be able to clear a background check Up-to-date vaccinations including Covid, Tdap and Flu (RSV preferred) Non-smoking household Compensation + Benefits This position is full time, Monday through Friday, 7:30am to 4:30pm, guaranteeing 36 to 45 hours per week, long term. Benefits: Paid time off and all federal holidays off 10 Paid time off vacation days (after 6 months of employment) 10 paid time off sick days (after 6 months of employment) Please note: Christmas Eve through January 1st will be time off without pay, every year. Requirements

  • Legally authorized to work in the United States
  • 2+ years of paid, professional infant care experience
