Full-Time Nanny for Bellevue 1-Year-Old (40 hrs per week) Placement
About The Position
A bit about us: We are a warm, thoughtful family in Bellevue seeking a full-time nanny to care for our active and curious one-year-old. Both parents work, with mom working from home, and value open communication and teamwork throughout the day. Safety is our top priority, especially as our child is mobile, loves to climb, and explores everything around him. We are looking for a long-term fit with no official end date and hope to build a trusting, consistent relationship with our nanny. We hope you’re comfortable around dogs as well, we have a friendly 21 lb Cavapoo who typically stays near mom during the workday. A bit about you: You are an experienced, hands-on nanny who truly enjoys caring for young toddlers and keeping up with an active child. You are engaging, talkative, and love helping children reach milestones through play, reading, and meaningful interactions. You are attentive, safety-focused, and comfortable monitoring a busy toddler throughout the day. You are reliable, punctual, communicative, and a self-starter who feels confident working alongside a parent who is home. Ideally, you live relatively close by for a short commute and are comfortable with a consistent weekday schedule with some flexibility.
Requirements
- Multiple years of proven experience caring for ages toddlers +
- Physically able to lift and keep up with an active child
- Strong focus on child safety and supervision
- Reliable transportation to the family’s home
- Strong communication skills and punctuality
- Comfortable working in a home with a dog
- Vaccinations preferred (Flu and Tdap)
- Glowing references from recent nanny positions

- Willingness to share activity ideas and food suggestions

- Lives nearby or has a manageable commute
Responsibilities
- Attentive childcare
- Diaper changes
- Preparing breakfast and lunch for the child, including basic baby/toddler food prep such as steaming vegetables and cutting fruit
- Engage the child in age-appropriate activities that support development, language, and curiosity
- Light household tasks related to the family’s daily rhythm are expected, including dishes, family laundry, wiping down surfaces, and vacuuming common areas, particularly after mealtimes
- Occasional walks are welcome with communication to parents
