About The Position

A downtown Manhattan-based family of three is in search of a nanny for their 11-month-old child. The position will be Monday through Friday, about 50 hours per week. The position will be in NYC (Sept–May, live-out) and the Hamptons (June–Sept, live-in). This role includes travel so the family requires a candidate with a US passport.

Responsibilities

All aspects of full-charge toddler care, including feeding, diapering, bathing, and ensuring the safety and well-being of the child
Engaging the child in age-appropriate play such as reading, singing, object tracking, and tummy time
Track developmental milestones and communicate progress to parents
Child-related housekeeping, laundry, toy sanitation, and sterilization of bottles and pump parts
Organization of the child’s room, spaces, and belongings – keep areas tidy
Keeping an inventory of supplies for the nursery and restocking
Adhering to schedules and making appropriate adjustments
Supporting sleep and meal routines
Cooking healthy meals
Traveling as needed and accompany the family to their home in the Hamptons
