About The Position
A family in Short Hills is seeking a warm and patient nanny for their two young boys, ages 10 years and 7 years. The typical schedule is Monday to Thursday from 8 am to 8 pm and Fridays from 8 am to 6:30 pm. The family can be flexible with hours depending on their weekly schedules, but consistency is needed. The ideal nanny is fun, supportive, patient, empathetic, proactive, and ready for a challenge. Responsibilities
- All meal preparation for the children, including lunches and snacks for school
- Doing the children’s laundry
- Tidying up after them
- Making appointments for the children when necessary
- Doing occasional errands when time allows such as picking up dry cleaning, meeting repairmen, grocery shopping, and going to the post office
