About The Position

A high-net-worth family based in East Hampton, New York is seeking an experienced, professional, and highly reliable full-time nanny to support their two children, ages 3 and 5. The family maintains a refined and structured household environment and values discretion, consistency, and a high level of professionalism.
The ideal candidate will be confident managing both daily childcare routines and enrichment-based activities, while seamlessly integrating into a well-organized, fast-paced household that often includes extended family visits and seasonal summer living.

Requirements

• Minimum of 7+ years of professional nanny experience, with at least 2 years in high-net-worth or private household settings
• Proven experience caring for multiple children in school-aged and preschool stages (ages 2–10 preferred)
• Strong background supporting structured routines, enrichment activities, and developmental milestones
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record and confident driving in East Hampton and surrounding areas
• Reliable personal transportation strongly preferred
• Current CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain prior to start)
• Strong references from long-term private household employers (required)
• Non-smoker and fully reliable with professional appearance and conduct
• Legal authorization to work in the United States
• Ability to pass comprehensive background, reference, and DMV checks
• High level of discretion, confidentiality, and professionalism required for private household work
• Strong English communication skills (spoken and written)

Responsibilities

• Full-day care for two children (ages 3 and 5)
• School drop-off and pick-up (during school season)
• Planning engaging, developmentally rich activities tailored to each child’s age
• Encouraging learning through structured play, creativity, and outdoor exploration
• Coordinating playdates, extracurricular activities, and seasonal programs
• Preparing healthy snacks and simple meals for children
• Supporting emotional development, independence, and social skills
• Maintaining consistent routines and daily structure
• Children’s laundry, wardrobe organization, and seasonal rotation
• Maintaining organization of children’s rooms, play areas, and belongings
• Packing and preparing children for outings, travel, and seasonal transitions
• Light coordination of children’s schedules and activities
• Assisting with child-related errands (supplies, activities, school needs)
• Ensuring smooth daily flow between home, activities, and events
