About The Position

A kind family of three in Midtown Manhattan is seeking a full-time nanny for their adventurous 2.5 year old daughter. The schedule for this role will be Monday through Friday, 8am-6pm. The family is relocating from overseas and the nanny must be able to start on April 1.

Requirements

US work authorization
Recent experience with toddlers
Excellent references
Willing to get an annual flu shot
Availability for occasional overnights

Able to work cohesively with a WFH parent and grandparents when they come to visit

Responsibilities

All aspects of childcare, including meal, sleep, and hygiene routines
Accompanying the child to and from preschool (within walking distance)
Preparing meals for the child- the nanny should be comfortable in the kitchen, and be familiar with Indian cuisine or following recipes
Keeping the home tidy throughout the day
Creating an engaging and developmentally appropriate environment in the home
Child-related laundry and organization
Getting the child out and about daily to the park and activities
