About The Position

A lovely family living in Greenwich, CT is seeking a kind and active, full-time nanny/Mother’s helper for their 7 ½ -year-old twin boys and 4-year-old girl. The general schedule will be Monday through Thursday from 12pm to 8pm and Friday from 11am to 7 or 8pm with flexibility. Only local candidates will be considered. Looking to hire as soon as possible.

Requirements

Previous experience in a similar role with multiple children
Flexibility with the schedule, including holidays
Ability to travel on occasion
Dedicated and seeking a long-term position – no job hoppers
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
Pet friendly – The family has shed-free dogs
Ability to swim would be a plus, but is not required
Legal to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

Cooking healthy meals and snacks for the family
Light housekeeping – The family has a housekeeper
General household organizing and errand running
Transport children to/from school and activities
Assist with homework
Oversee bedtime routines
Create a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for the children
Thoughtfully guide children through emotions and positively foster independence and good judgment
Encourage creativity and outdoor play
All aspects of general childcare
Travel prep and pack
Travel occasionally with family
