About The Position

A busy family of five in Austin, TX is seeking a professional, full-time, long-term nanny/family assistant to join their household team. The family has three vibrant and active children who are involved in multiple extracurricular activities. They are looking for someone who truly enjoys spending time with children, can engage them creatively, and helps keep daily routines on track. The ideal candidate is experienced, proactive, and genuinely enjoys working with children while supporting the smooth operation of the home. This role is perfect for a career nanny who values collaboration, organization, and being an integral part of a well-run household. This is a long-term, hands-on role for someone who thrives in a structured, collaborative environment. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 12pm-8pm.

Requirements

  • MUST be local to the Austin, TX. area
  • Minimum 5 years of professional nanny experience
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
  • Stable, reliable, and punctual with a structured approach
  • Personable, calm, and supportive; able to work well with the family, household team, and EA
  • Collaborative and team-oriented
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record; comfortable using family-provided vehicle
  • Long-term commitment required
  • Comfortable with animals (family has two dogs)

Nice To Haves

  • Willingness to travel with the family as needed (not required)

Responsibilities

  • Provide attentive care for three children (ages 11, 8 & 7)
  • Drive children to and from extracurricular activities and appointments (family vehicle provided)
  • Maintain a clean, organized environment - including children’s rooms, kitchen, and play areas
  • Perform light housekeeping tasks such as laundry and tidying common spaces
  • Run errands and assist with household needs as required
  • Assist with scheduling and on-site support for the household vendors (in coordination with the EA)
  • Research and plan children’s activities, including enrollment and scheduling (in coordination with the EA)
  • Assist with the family calendar (in coordination with EA)
  • Prepare simple, healthy meals and snacks as needed
  • Provide occasional morning backup care with advance notice
