About The Position

CompassCare is seeking an experienced, compassionate Full-Time Live-In Caregiver with a Minimum of 10 Years of One-On-One Elderly Care Experience to provide dedicated care for a female client with Dementia. This is a long-term, Live-In position for someone who is patient, and highly skilled in dementia care. Who We Are: CompassCare is a private duty home care company that specializes in concierge services. We believe that most people would prefer to live independently at home as they grow older. Our client care is provided by a full care team, to ensure that we are delighting the client every time. Our focus is on providing top level care for our clients while also providing full 24/7 support for our caregivers. Our caregivers build a strong relationship with the client to learn how to go above and beyond, providing care well beyond the care plan that has been provided. Our caregivers work in partnership with the CompassCare Client Team and Office Staff to provide the best possible care for each client.

Requirements

• Authorized to work in the US
• Fully vaccinated for COVID-19
• Minimum of 10 years of experience providing one-on-one to the elderly
• CNA or HHA Certification
• CPR Certification
• Extensive experience with Dementia care
• Comfortable with live-in assignments
• Willing and able to travel between CT and FL as needed.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• Comfortable around dogs
• Reliable, patient, and compassionate

Responsibilities

• Provide personalized, one-on-one care and supervision
• Assist with daily living activities (personal care, meals, mobility, routines)
• Support cognitive engagement and maintain a structured daily schedule
• Safely drive the client to appointments and activities
• Travel with the client between Connecticut and Florida as needed
• Maintain a safe, calm, and supportive environment
• Be comfortable working in a home with dogs
